Washington Township Parks in Avon, Indiana, aims to enhance the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of the community. Managing around 275 acres, the park system offers a wide range of recreational activities through its facilities, programs, and natural spaces.

The three developed parks—Washington Township Park, Pecar Park with Pock Woods, and Murphy Park—feature picnic areas, playgrounds, a nature center, fishing ponds, sports courts, trails, a dog park, an outdoor aquatic facility, and the historic Whipple Iron Truss Bridge. The Pavilion Center is also available for events like weddings.

The Parks Department offers year-round programming, including camps for school breaks, before and after school care, and outdoor summer camps, all focused on hands-on learning and exploration of nature.
