Frankfort Day at KSU

Saturday, September 23 is Frankfort Day at the Kentucky State University (KSU) Football Game. The City of Frankfort provided popsicles to attendees of the Frankfort Day pre-game tailgate at Alumni Stadium. The Kiwanis Club provided hotdogs and other community organizations joined the fun. Kiwanis is a long-time supporter of Kentucky State University and its students. KSU has an active student chapter of Circle K [International]. Mayor Wilkerson flipped the coin to start game play. Kentucky State University is one of the oldest historically, black colleges and universities in the United States and is a Public Land Grant Institution.
