IWU's Alliance Gardens

Prof. Jacob Buck and Dr. Jennifer Noseworthy run Indiana Wesleyan University’s Alliance Gardens, an urban farming initiative that provides local fruit, vegetables, and flowers to the Marion community. Prof. Buck has lived in Marion for most of 30 years, and has volunteered and worked with the Alliance Gardens for the past 10 years. He said, “I love that we are able to produce local produce and donate that to organizations that provide it to people who need it.” Marion residents can engage with the Alliance Gardens by attending farmer’s markets and annual events, or by ordering farm boxes full of produce and flowers during the summer and fall. To order a farm box, visit the Alliance Gardens’ website here.
