New Report Shows Tulsa Metro Added 1,480 New Businesses in 2022, Surpassing National Average

According to a new Tulsa Regional Chamber report, the number of new businesses formed in the Tulsa metro hit 1,480 in 2022, marking the highest figure in over a decade. This represents an 8.1% increase from 2021 and outpaces both state and national averages.

With the opening of Gradient Innovation Hub’s new 115,000-square-foot space and a $51M federal grant projected to create up to 56,000 high-paying jobs, Tulsa continues to attract talent, entrepreneurs, and remote workers looking for opportunity.
