Find Home in the Heart of Decatur County, Kansas

Tucked away in the rolling plains of Northwest Kansas, Decatur County is more than just a place on the map—it’s a place where life moves at just the right pace and where neighbors feel like family.

At the heart of it all is Oberlin, our largest town, where the charm of small-town life meets the convenience of a central location. Situated at the crossroads of US Highway 36 & US Highway 83, we’re just 252 miles directly East of Denver, CO—close enough for a weekend getaway, but far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of wide-open spaces.

Our historic brick main street invites you to take a leisurely stroll past quaint mom-and-pop shops, where friendly faces are always ready to welcome you in. You’ll find local treasures, live music drifting from beneath the canopy of trees, and a deep-rooted sense of pride in everything we do—all in a community shaped by its strong agricultural heritage.

Come be a part of our home, “Where friends meet on brick streets.”
