 LIFT (Leaders Innovating For Tomorrow) is a regional innovation and technology center available to High School Juniors and Seniors in Central Illinois. Their goal is to connect students to career pathways and programs and give them access to dual credit opportunities, industry certifications, internships, and leadership skills for the 21st century. 


Mattoon, IL leaders have announced the proposed development of a new $60M+ indoor/outdoor sports complex that is to be built on ninety-five acres, at a prime location in the community intersected by I-57 South. The facility is expected to be anchored by additional hotels, retail and restaurants, and will be integrated into the new Lincoln Prairie Grass Trail; which connects the towns of Mattoon, IL and Charleston, IL via a nature-filled 12-mile bike path.

Elevate is a business incubation center that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via keycard access. Members range from retailers, bankers, lawyers, accountants, educators, healthcare professionals, and retired business owners. Conference rooms and laptops are available for rent for members.
