"Block Bash is something we host every year in September. This will be our 13th year, and its French Lick’s biggest festival. We we fly out all of our chainsaw guys and they carve all weekend long, and then we auction off all of the carvings. It’s one of the biggest chainsaw festivals you can come to see in this part of America."

"Living here is like being on vacation every day. Because of the resort, I get to meet all kinds of people every day. We’re a family business, which really compliments what the community is all about. When you live here, people know your name."
"This gas station has been here since 1947 and it’s always been a full-service station. It’s a need for the community. You’ve got elderly people, handicapped people, people that are dressed up on their way out to social events and don’t want to smell like gas. People here are very helpful, very considerate, and willing to help each other."
