Jacksonville had a solid 2024, according to city officials, who say they are hoping for more of the same in 2025.

The city was able to get to work on many of its long-term projects in 2024, including a renovation of the Lake Jacksonville spillway, the early portions of a renovation of the city's sewer plant and meeting several benchmarks for its emergency services, Mayor Andy Ezard said.
