Bloomington Remote is a program offered through The Mill, the community's nonprofit center for co-working and entrepreneurship. If accepted, new movers will receive a three-year co-working membership to The Mill, valued at $2,200 annually. Program participants also receive concierge-level support in getting resettled and acclimated to the community. Bloomington checks the boxes for remote workers who want to give up the expense of living in a world-class community without losing the amenities they enjoy.

The mission of IU Science Fest is to celebrate and inspire curiosity among Hoosiers of all ages by providing exciting hands-on experiences with science, by promoting meaningful and direct exchanges with scientists, and by highlighting scientific research and teaching at IU.

The Lotus World Music and Arts Festival is one of the oldest world music festivals in the U.S. and the only festival of its kind in the state of Indiana. Mark your calendar for Thursday, October 3 through Sunday, October 6, 2024 for this one of a kind event.

Lotus World Music & Arts Festival showcases the exceptional talent of performing artists and musicians from around the globe. First Thursdays festivals showcase the diversity of arts and humanities at Indiana University (IU) Bloomington and offer a welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and community members to explore new creative outlets. Previous festivals have included everything from opera to breakdancing, stage-fighting to clay-throwing, and much, much more. Each festival is a unique opportunity to experience the wonderful work of artists, performers, and scholars from all across campus and around town.

The November festival takes place Nov. 7th from 4-7pm and will utilize a number of indoor venues across campus

, including IU Auditorium, Indiana Memorial Union, Eskenazi Museum of Art, Fine Arts Building, and Lilly Library. Each space will host a unique gathering of performances, exhibitions, arts vendors, activity booths, giveaways, and dining options.
